Lancaster, PA, August 17, 2017— Heather J. Kreider, Founder and Owner of Makes Scents Natural Spa Line was among the thirteenth cohort of 23 graduates who recently completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses-Greater Philadelphia program.

According to Makes Scents Natural Spa Line owner Heather Kreider, "Our business goals prior to the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program now seem more like tiny stepping stones. The program taught me to think big and provided me with the tools necessary to achieve our new aspirational goals. The program has not only positively impacted our business but it has impacted me as a female entrepreneur and manufacturing business owner." 

The business leaders have spent 14 weeks - roughly 100 class hours - at the Community College of Philadelphia studying a business and management curriculum designed by Babson College and delivered by Community College of Philadelphia faculty. The curriculum covered accounting, human resources, negotiation and marketing, among other topics. The program also included one-on-one business advising, accounting workshops and advice from Goldman Sachs professionals.
