In 1984, was elected President of Barnett Brass and Copper Inc. in Jacksonville Fl, which at that time was a regional supplier of plumbing products to contractors. The revenues at the time were $25 million with approximately 50 employees.. By 1996, after opening 36 Distribution centers, increasing product listing to include hardware and electrical products, and developing a telesales and outside sales force, we were able to increase our sales revenue to $300 million with approximately 1,200 employees.. That same year, the company did an initial public offering and went public.. In 2000 the company was sold to Interline Brands; I stayed on with the company as Senior Vice President and Chief Merchandising office until my retirement in 2007. Currently District Director North Central Florida
